Kobi - Gudauri road is blocked besause of the heavy snow

Heavy snowfall and a sharp drop in temperature have created problems across Georgia.

Kobi-Gudauri road is blocked and the citizens have to stay in their cars during all night.

Truck drivers have been waiting for the road to open. They do not have food supplies and ask for help.

The road is cleared to the Cross Pass at this time. Clearance work is still underway.

The problems caused by heavy snow are also being tackled in Adjara. A total of 84 units of special equipment are mobilized and still clearing the road.
