Air traffic between Russia and Georgia will be restored only after the campaign of Russophobia is ceased and security of Russian citizens is no longer in danger in Georgia. Such a statement Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko made in the interview to Russian media.

“Talks over lifting the restrictions will be possible only after the necessary conditions are created for it. First of all - after the situation is stabilized, the Russophobia campaign is ceased and our citizens are no longer in danger in Georgia”, - concluded Rudenko.

Russia banned flights to Georgia after the protests launched by MP Gavrilov’s speech in the Parliament of Georgia in July, 2019.
