A large-scale cyber fraud case is solved - briefing at MIA

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has solved a large-scale case of cyber fraud.

Tens of citizens have become the victims of the cyber fraud. Law enforcers detained 4 persons for embezzlement of citizens’ money.

According to Rustavi 2information, the defendants were stealing the victims’ personal data and to deposit large amounts of their money into own accounts through online sportsbooks.

Briefing is scheduled at MIA at 14:00.
