The Health Ministry provides Republican Hospital with 30 artificial respirators

The Ministry of Health has given 30 artificial respirators to the Central Republican Hospital in Tbilisi, where patients with the new coronavirus symptoms are under the observation of doctors.

The equipment is important for managing severe cases caused by the respiratory infection.

According to the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze, currently there is no need to use artificial respirators at this moment: “The Central Republican Hospital has 50 artificial respirators in total. We have found 500 more respirators in the private sector, which will also be used step by step if the need arises”.
