De facto regime of occupied Abkhazia to close Enguri Bridge crossing point. According to local media, the restriction is linked to the coronavirus pandemic.

The occupation line on the Enguri river has been open unilaterally since May 26. During this period, more than 500 people returned to Abkhazia.

56 people were tested for COVID-19 in Abkhazia yesterday. None of them confirmed COVID-19. 3 infected people are being treated at Gudauta Hospital.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 28 cases of coronavirus have been reported in occupied Abkhazia. 23 people recovered and 1 died.
