Locals found an abandoned newborn in the village of Kvemo Bodbe, Sighnaghi Municipality.

They saw the child near the gas station and informed the police, after which the newborn was taken to the Archimedes clinic in Tsnori.

According to the initial information of the doctors, the baby has no injuries and his health condition is satisfactory.

As the Ministry of Internal Affairs says, the investigation has been launched on this case.
