The Prime Minister of Georgia responds to the award established by the Cartu Foundation for the national football team and noted that it is very important to support sports.

“It is very important for us to support sports and Cartu’s decision towards our national team and Georgian football is highly appreciated. Of course, we know that our players do not lack motivation, but to support this motivation in addition is a very valuable thing. Thanks to the Cartu Foundation and personally to Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili, who established the award both for exiting the group and for each subsequent game victory. We have great hope that our national team will advance to the European Championship”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.

The Cartu Charity Foundation announced today that it would award the Georgian national football team with GEL 30 million for advancing to the round of 16 at the UEFA EURO2024.
