MPs express their opinion in regard to procedures of presidential election . The majority claim that the president"s authority will not be reduced as a result of amendments and the Constructional Commission subordinated this entry with the recommendations of the Venice Commission.
" If the Venice Commission changes the position and says that now he has other opinion, we will revise our version as well,- said Tamar Chugoshvili, a Deputy Chairman of Parliament.
Giorgi Tugushi, member of parliamentary faction -Movement for Freedom - European Georgia says that the Venice Commission gives " green light" to this amendment.
"I think that this is one of the amendments, which can be implemented, because it really was supported by the Venice Commission,"- said Giorgi Tugushi.

Roman Gotsiridze, a Chairman of National Movement believes that the government"s every action linked to the president is aimed at maintaining power.
