Vakhtang Gomelauri presented a 27-page report to MPs at the parliament today. The report of a Head of the State Security Service focused on counter-intelligence activities and personal data protection.
Georgia"s occupied territories remain as the main challenge for the State Security Service . According to Vakhtang Gomelauri, the agency does everything for the security of the country.

" One of the main issues at Geneva discussions and IPRM is the case of Georgian citizen- - Giga Otkhozoria , brutally murdered by the so called security personnel of the occupied Abkhazia. The State Security Service will use all available legal means ,"- said vakhtang Gomelauri.

" We have detected foreign nationals whose activities intersect with foreign special services, and there are signs of possible connection,"- he mentioned.
