The boycott of the Constitutional Commission continues. Tomorrow, European Georgia will make a statement about leaving the Commission. Today Patriots` Alliance and the Parties from the Coordination Council have joined the list of those who have left the Commission. The reason for the next wave of protest has become a publicized document.

The rule of direct presidential elections shall be revoked according to the draft of the constitution, although the terms of the enactment are not specified. This means that after the approval, a new constitution will be introduced in the nearest elections and the president will no longer be elected by 300 people starting from 2018. The project is also unclear about when the majoritarian system will be abolished.

Almost all the standards are categorically unacceptable for the opposition in the document, including a 5% threshold, and granting theundistributed mandates to the winner party.
