The final event of the American Days 2017 is taking place in Tbilisi. The US Embassy has organized various activities in Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi and Telavi on the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations with the strategic partner. On the last day of the week, guests have gathered in the old building of the American Embassy in Tbilisi

The event was attended by the members of the government. The President of Georgia spoke about the importance of relations with America.

"Georgia has taken additional steps for integration into Euro-Atlantic space. The support of Americans and our allies on this road is very important. It is a great victory for us on the international arena that the countries have a policy of non-recognition against Russian aggression policy. There is no country that is suspicious of Georgia`s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We should stay together when the issue concerns aggression, "said Giorgi Margvelashvili.
