OSCE experts in media freedom are starting official meetings in Tbilisi. Chair of the Union of Journalists of Lithuania told about the three-day visit to Rustavi2.

According to Danis Radev-Chius, they will listen to the information about the situation in Georgia in terms of freedom of media and they emphasize the importance of media pluralism in democratic countries.

"Media freedom for democratic countries is one of the most important issues. We will discuss the situation in the field of media at our meetings and the ways of solving problems. I would like to comment on the media environment and prepare recommendations with my colleagues based on real situation in the country. It is important to know how important media freedom is for non-governmental organizations, media representatives, politicians and all groups of society, "said Danis Radziv-Chius.
