Former Director of Lancet Clinic , Farman Jeiran, was sentenced to imprisonment as a preventive measure.

The Judge of the City Court virtually fully accepted the arguments of the prosecution and did not satisfy the motion of 100 000 lari bail.

Farman Jeiran was arrested yesterday for extorting a large amount of money from a patient through cheating him and hiding information dangerous for health.

He does not recognize the crime. The lawyers are plannng to appeal the decision.
