Police arrested former director of Shaheen School

The criminal police has arrested a former director of Shaheen School. According to the lawyer, the Turkish side demanded arrest of Mustafa Chabuk because of alleged connection with the terrorist organization Feto.

The family members consider the accusation absurd and ask the Georgian government for help.

"The reason is coming from Turkey, yesterday a delegation arrived in Georgia and my husband was detained this morning after this visit. Investigators also told me that the Georgian side has no legal argument. I appeal to the President of Georgia, the Prime Minister, the Public Defender and the Diplomatic Corps, to respond quickly and not to hand over innocent Mustafa Chabuk to Turkey, "-said Tufa Kandemir Chabuk, wife of Mustafa Chabuk.

According to the attorney, in the case file received from the Turkish side, there is no confirmation of any connection with the terrorist organization.

Mustafa Chabuk is a member of the Demirel School Partnership Board. He has lived in Georgia for 15 years already.
