"Georgia is a special aspirant country," NATO Deputy Secretary General

"Georgia is a special aspirant country. We appreciate Georgia"s contribution to the Alliance. We have mentioned the Georgian contingent in Afghanistan. 35 Georgian soldiers have died. ,"- said the NATO Deputy Secretary at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly today and underlined that Georgian soldiers have paid a huge fee. According to her, there are reforms, which should be taken.

 

As the NATO Deputy Secretary General underlined, Georgia is a special aspirant country.

 

"I am glad that we have an experienced team here, experienced experts from different countries come and help Georgia in this important process - to implement reforms. As for the timeline, I can not make the prediction,"- said Rose Gottemoeller.
