Afgan Mukhtarli`s case - journalists met with Janos Herman

Georgian journalists met with EU Ambassador to Georgia regarding the case of Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarli. As the journalists state , they discussed with Janos Herman the suspicious situation around the case. Journalists will also meet with the US Ambassador to Georgia, Ian Kelly.

The spouse and the lawyer of the Azerbaijani journalist, Afgan Mukhtarli, are expected at the police today. They will get aquianted with safety issues offered to the family.

The family attorney will appeal the investigative agency with the request to transfer the case to the Chief Prosecutor"s Office today.

NGOs also demand that the prosecutor`s office conduct investigation.
