The parliamentary opposition criticizes the initiative of the ruling party, which refers to the record on alienation of land in the constitution. It is a regulation that prohibits the sale of agricultural land to foreign nationals.

The National Movement says that this regulation will further complicate the socio-economic situation in the country.

"The main goal of the government is to employ people, to care for people to have more income, to develop agriculture, to attract more investments. Any regulation about which the government speaks today will prevent this and will further damage our citizens who are in need, "- Akaki Minashvili said.

It is unacceptable to toughen the regulation and make a record about it in the country`s main law.

The party requires the publication of the recommendations of the Venice Commission, which, as Giorgi Tugushi explains, the ruling team does not want to publisize.

"This is one of the populist steps of the government. The Georgian land can not be moved from here. The only thing is to give to foreigners certain rights, if they get the economic effect, "- said George Tugushi.

 Alliance of Patriots is demanding a more clear wording for the rule of alienation of the land in the constitution.
