Investment disputes should be handled impartially, otherwise Georgia will lose investors - Bridget Brink

The conference, which was organized by the German Marshall Fund and Heritage foundation was dedicated to the 25 anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Georgia.

The main speaker was Ted Poe, who heads the Group of Friends of Georgia in the House of Representatives .

The US Deputy Secretary of State, Bridget Brink participated in the economic section of the conference. In her speech, she praised the contribution of Georgia to the global security and the reforms carried out in the country, but she also spoke of challenges, including the need for a free trial.

"We know that the independence and efficiency are critical to attract and retain investment, economic growth and stability. The private sector should trusted
the business deals and investment potential, the business disputes should be treated impartially and effectively by the courts . Otherwise, Georgia will lose investors "- said Bridget Brink.

Ministrer of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mikhail Janeldze attended the panel.

One of the main issues of the conference was security and Euro-Atlantic integration. Foreign Minister confirmed the main goal - the necessity of joining the alliance.
