Ruling party is going to register a new initiative in regard to drug policy liberalization in two days. The members of the majority do not hide that the process had been accelerated after the Prime Minister"s and the Vice Prime Minister"s announcements.
Georgian Dream indicates that the legislation has been working on the issue for a long time.
"We welcome the Prime Minister"s statement on the drug policy reform. The work has already started in Parliament. We adhere to the drug policy, which is to protect the future generation from drugs "- said Archil Talakvadze.

Akaki Zoidze, the Health and Social Affairs Committee chairman says that humane drug policy does not mean popularization, legalization or tolerant attitude to drug use, but this means that the drug-addicts people should not sit in jail.
