Scandalous testimony on Lapankuri Case - Chechen warrior detained in Austria recognize that he was Russian special services agent

The scandalous details are revealed after 5 years of Lapankuri events. The new details about the special operation carried out at the Georgian-Russian border were reported at the trial of a Chechen warrior in Austria. 38-year-old Magomed Ibrahimov said that he was an agent of the Russian special services and he was given a task by the Russian government to take an armed group from Georgia to Chechnya.

Magomed Ibrahimov`s judicial trial attracted the attention of the Austrian media, since he admitted that he was performing the orders of Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov during the Lapankuri events and was an embedded agent. The Georgian special services started the opposition to detain the armed group.

The former head of the analytical department of the Interior Ministry, who occupied this position during the events of Lapakuri, says that if the Georgian authoritieswant to determine the real circumstances of the case, then they should ask Austrian law enforcers for permission to interrogate Ibrahimov.

Magomed Ibrahimov`s attorney in Vienna, Wolfgan Blass told the Courier that he had not been contacted by Georgian representatves in Austria.

After the testimony of the Chechen warrior in the Vienna Court, the third President of Georgia responded and noted that Lapanguri`s special operation was Moscow`s provocation.
