The Afgan Mukhtarli`s lawyers will appeal the Azerbaijani court decision in the Court of Appeals. The lawyers requested for him home arrest, but the first instance refused to satisfy the request.. The possibility of leaving the country was given as a reason of refusal.

In parallel, Article 42 of the Constitution is preparing a suit for the European Court of Human Rights. It is also preparing an appeal for using the mechanism of temporary suspension of the custodial arrest for the Azerbaijani side.
