New members of Council of Justice - civil sector does not have hope for independence of Council

Most of the newly appointed members of the High Council of Justice are not known to the civil sector, and therefore the NGO members suspect that the council will be not able to maintain independence.

The NGOs say that the old staff of the Supreme Council had managed to appoint their candidates to all existing positions.
In two days the Judges" Conference will elect four remaining members of the Board. After that, the secretary of the council will also be voted for . Finally, 8 new members will be added to the 15-member board .
