The government offers 20% discount on fines

The government offers 20% discount on fines. The Ministers have approved the legislative package for enforcing video fines submitted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and leasing registration.

According to the amendments, if a citizen pays a penalty within 10 calendar days after receiving the relevant SMS message, he will use 20% discount.

Penalty receipt shall be sent to the citizen in case of non-grace period only.

This model is used in European countries, including Italy, Great Britain and France.
