A public servant can not think of himself as a politician - Irakli Kobakhidze accuses Anna Dolidze of violating ethical norms

An extraordinary session of the parliament in regard to the President"s vetoes on two draft law was followed by the confrontation between Ana Dolidze, the President"s Parliamentary Secretary and Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of Parliament.
"It is very sad when we face a case when seven self-governing cities are deprived from their status and elections will be canceled there as well. We have to reiterate our position on this issue," Anna Dolidze said.

After that, Irakli Kobakhidze noted that the opposition and the president"s administration speak in a same language and it is not surprising. He also criticized Ana Dolidze saying that she violates the ethical norms.

"According to the parliament regulations, my obligation is to protect ethical standards. Ethical standards include the fact that a public servant can not argue with a politician. A Public servant is a public servant, politician is a politician, this is the simplest standard, "said Irakli Kobakhidze.
