Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia comments on Vladimir Putin"s scheduled visit to occupied Abkhazia. According to him, such steps are an attempt to legitimize status of the territories, occupied by Russia.

"The statements we have heard serve for continuation of the policy we are witnessing - it is an attempt to legitimize the situation of the regions that have been taken away from Georgia," Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.

He noted that the Georgian side should do its best in order to solve the problem peacefully, with the help of international partners.
