The draft law on sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea has already been signed by the US President. Georgia is mentioned six times in the document. The US imposes additional restrictions on Russia due to aggressive actions against the United States, Georgia and Ukraine.

The law gives detailed information on Moscow"s actions which have been assessed as a violation of international law, including cyber attacks against the United States and violation of territorial integrity of Georgia and Ukraine.

The law approved by the two chambers of the Congress obliges the president of United States President to call on Russia to de-occupy Georgian territories. 250 million dollars will be allocated from the budget of the United States in 2018-2019 In support of those countries that are are vulnerable in front of Russian influence in Europe and Eurasia and participate in the NATO and EU enlargement.

Russia reacted to the document immediately with responsible measures. Moscow has demanded Washington to reduce the number of diplomats and seized the embassy"s property.
