The members of the political platform "New Georgia" initiate to equalize a pension age for men and women and establish 60 years for both sexes.

According to the members of the party, the legislative norm contradicts the Constitution of Georgia and violated the principle of equality.

"We have norms that are absolutely discriminatory, the pension age of men and women differs. We follow the legal procedure and equalize the pension age in Georgia ", - stated Giorgi Vashadze.

Women"s organization of "New Georgia" plans to collect 30,000 signatures and file a suit to the Constitutional Court.
