The multinational military exercise Noble Partner 2017 finished several minutes ago at the Vaziani polygon. The Chief Commander, invited guests and military to pay tribute to the dead heroes at the beginning of the ceremony.

Giorgi Margvelashvili drew attention to the partnership between the Georgian and American sides. He spoke about the importance of these exercises. He also recalled a Georgian military who died a few days ago in Afghanistan.

After completing exercises on Vaziani training base, Norio training base and Vaziani airdrome, the commander of the country awarded Georgian and American soldiers with medals.

Honorable Partner 2017 was held in Georgia for two weeks.This time, the exercise was conducted in the largest scale and involve eight NATO member and partner countries: Georgia, USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Turkey, Slovenia, Armenia and Ukraine. The active phase of Noble Partner 2017 will be concluded with demonstrative exercise at the 11th shooting range in Vaziani on the 12th of August.
