Levan Izoria visited Georgian peacekeepers injured in the attack on the Bahamas aviation base in Afghanistan in the US military hospital in Germany. Captain Mikheil Gvirjishvili and Senior Lieutenant, Giga Khutashvili were awarded with medals .

"Georgian soldiers injured as a result of the attack, as representatives of the coalition forces are undergoing treatment at the American hospital. I am honored to communicate with the Georgian soldiers, "- said Colonel Thimothy Hudson, head of the Landztruth Regional Medical Center.

Two Georgian military servicemen of the 23rd Battalion of the II Infantry Brigade were floen to Germany due to injuries during the August 3 explosion. They have undergone different kinds of operation. Now both of them feel good and their lives are not in danger.

"Their condition is stable, in the near future they will return to their families," said Levan Izoria.
