The self-governance elections will be held on October 21 in Georgia. The President of Georgia- Giorgi Margvelashvili made a statement a few minutes ago.

He stated that the relevant document has already been sent to the Prime Minister for countersign.

A confirmation of the date of elections needs the countersign of the Prime Minister . The official act will be issued 60 days before the elections, or by the end of August, after which the election campaign will begin officially.
