In Borjomi Gorge tens of hectares of forest have been on for 55 hours. Strong wind helps to spread fire and new fire foci keep emerging. 

In the village of Daba, where the fire is approaching the settlements, the fire could not be localized. The children were taken out of the villages for safety reasons. According to locals, some of the area residents left.

"If the wind gets stronger, the fire will spread over to the settlement area, we hope that firefighters will not allowed it," - said the local resident the Courier.
