US Secretary of Defense arrived in Kiev on the Independence Day of Ukraine

The Secretary of Defense of the United States arrived in Kiev on the U Independence Day of Ukraine.

James Mattis will attend the military parade in the Ukrainian capital and meet with President Poroshenko, as well as with his Ukrainian counterpart Stepan Poltorak.

This is the first visit of the head of the Pentagon in Ukraine for the past 10 years.
