King Kvirike III"s tomb was discovered in the village of Kalauri in Gurjaani district. The head of the Kalauri Cathedral, Father Ilia Janiashvili confirms information about it. According to him, the king"s grave was found near the village"s graveyard. After that, specialists from the Monument Protection Agency arrived at the site .

King Kvirike the third was the third king of Kakheti and Hereti in 1010-1037.
