The names of candidates nominated for the Strasbourg Court are already known. The Georgian government has selected judges of the Rustavi 2 case - Lali Phaphiashvili and Otar Sichinava as candidates for the European Court of Justice. They will be nominated to the European Court today or tomorrow.

Opposition parties say that the commission has received another shameful, political decision.

Zaza Bibilashvili, a member of United National Movement, thinks that itt simply indicates that the government wants to promote the third candidate, Lado Chanturia, which is already endorsed by the European Court.

Zaza Bibilashvili recalls the list of selected candidates for the Rustavi 2 case and says that these judges have been fulfilling the order of the government.

"This is the end of the totally disgraceful and discredited process. Everybody remembers very well what kind of unethical behavior they had while discussing the case of Rustavi2 , "Zaza Bibilashvili said.

Zurab Tchiaberashvili, member of European Georgia claims that the whole process is "another farce".
