Mikheil Saakashvili`s plans and enhanced protection on Ukrainian border

The third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, attended the EPP political assembly today. Saakashvili met with party leaders and talked about the situation around him.

According to Mikheil Saakashvili, nothing can change his decision and he will arrive
to Ukraine from Poland on September 10. The third president of Georgia has confirmed in an interview with "Courier" that on September 10, the European Parliament members, ordinary supporters and foreign journalists will come to the border with Poland and Ukraine.

According to Mikheil Saakashvili, if he is not allowed in Ukraine, it will hurt Ukraine more. He also thinks that his detention will be disastrous for Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. Saakashvili excludes the issue of extradition.

The third president of Georgia was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship several weeks ago and now he is planning to defend his rights. MEPs also claim that Mikheil Saakashvili can defend his rights in court.

Security along the border between Poland and Ukraine has already been strengthened. In addition to the protective fence, armored vehicles were deployed.
