The deadline for submission of lists of nominees to the Central Election Commission expires today. Despite the fact that the majority of parties have already nominated candidates for position of Mayor and City Coucil, the composition of party lists is still unknown.

The Central Election Commission clarified that the parties have time to finish the procedure till 6 pm till at the end of the day.

According to the information, only 5 political parties submitted the election list to the CEC.

After submission of voter lists, the Central Election Commission has a two-day deadline to verify the data of candidates included in the list.

There are 23 political parties and five electoral blocs in local elections.
