28 citizens of Georgia arrested for robbery in Germany and Italy

28 citizens of Georgia have been arrested for robbery in Germany and Italy. The lawyers of those arrested in Italy or their family members have not applied to the official representation of Georgia in the country yet.

According to Italian media, after the special operation conducted by the local police, law enforcers found a repository in Regio-Emilia, from where the stolen items were sent to Georgia.

According to the investigation, the group of Georgians has robbed 85 houses and offices in different regions of Italy since 2015.

The detainees had a sports club in the city of Turin, where they trained in opening doors and safes.
