Representative of the Alliance of Patriots is holding meetings in Washington before negotiations in Moscow. Giorgi Lomia has already met with representatives of the State Departmentfor the Eastern European Region. An iformal meeting with Republican Congressmen also took place .

According to Giorgi Lomia, the myth should be destroyed in connection with the fact that their party is pro-Russian. Political issues in Georgia, including constitutional amendments, will be discussed at meetings in Washington.

"We want to reiterate that we are not a pro-Russian party and are driven by Georgia`s interest and nothing else," - said Giorgi Lomia, chairperson of the parliamentary faction Georgian Patriots.
