Tourists stuck in Tusheti due to snow

Tourists are stuck in Tusheti due to an avalanche which has blocked the Shaveli-Abano-Omalo road. According to locals, tourists were trying to move from Tusheti to Kakheti.

An emergency medical assistance is needed for one of the tourists whose health condition is serious. He has internal bleeding, but cannot be transferred to hospital.

The locals informed the 112 about the incident. According to the Tusheti governor, Lado Kakhoidze, road cleaning works have begun.
