A Chairman of the City Council responds to "Transparency International - Georgia". The organisation"s report speaks about business contacts of the City Council"s members, hidden and incomplete declarations of ownership and land plots, sold for one GEL.

Giorgi Alibegashvili disagrees with the problematic tendencies revealed by the NGO. According to him, the City Council was acting legally while alienation property for one GEL and handing it to the family of the Judge Nata Nazghaidze and Bidzina Ivanishvili .

The members of the council made the explanations as well.
Lia Jakhvelidze , a City Council member says that one of the companies in the report suspended its work in 2011 and forgot to liquidate it.
