Self-Government Elections - 86 DECs begin to consider complaints

The votes are counted, but the final results of the October 21 voting will be announced after reviewing complaints. The process will be started at 86 DECs today.

The CEC clarifies that most of the complaints require the commissioners to impose disciplinary sanctions, though there are cases of alleged procedural violations.

The process of reviewing complaints starts today in Ozurgeti where they do not expect significant changes and are preparing for the second round. According to the latest data, 43% of voters supported "Georgian Dream" candidate Beglar Sioridze, independent candidate Konstantine Sharashenidze received 42%.

According to the chairman of the commission, Avtandil Osepashvili, the votes of 124 precincts in Kutaisi are already counted.
