Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has informed the population about the events planned in the capital for a new year period. As Kakha Kaladze says, Tbilisi"s main Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be held on December 15th . As for Gala concerts - They will be held on three locations - Gldani, Samgoni and Old Tbilisi.

"This is the first time when New Years events will be held in suburbs of Tbilisi. Different events will be organized from December 24 to January 7, "said Kakha Kaladze.

According to him, many singers will participate in the New Year concert this year.

"We should eventually destroy the stereotype that the choices were made because of some political views," said Tbilisi Mayor.
