Gaps in the Code of Administrative Offenses - "GYLA" Speaks of Violation of Human Rights

The Georgian Young Lawyers Association speaks about the gaps in the Code of Administrative Offenses. The organization will make remarks today. The lawyers of "GYLA" explain that, due to these shortcomings, the human rights are often violated.

According to their assessment, , judges in the case of administrative offenses only take decisions based on evidence presented by the police and do not provide for other materials in the case.

"The Code, which operates today, causes a lot of human rights violations everyday. People do not enjoy the right to a fair trial. This Code is defective and it is necessary to change this, "- said Nona Kurdovadze, lawyer for GYLA.
