According to the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Public Broadcaster, the ethical norms were not violatedin the case of the poet Zviad Ratiani. The decision has been adopted today.

According to the board members, the broadcaster has not conducted any violations but at the same time the decision of the self-regulatory board remained in force, according to which the controversial video footage depicting the detention of drunken Ratiani was removed from the website.

The Board of Trustees was the last instance where Ratiani and his lawyers were able to dispute.

The defenders of Zviad Ratiani"s interests believe that the broadcaster violated the right to privacy of the poet"s personal life.
