A citizen was physically assaulted in the office of Samtredia City Council. Maia Koridze, who has addressed the local government and asked for help, was beaten by Badri Shengelia, the MP from Georgian Dream.
After the so-called " Hug Campaign" announced by the ruling team, the citizen was met with aggression and fists. The Chairman of the City Council attended the incident as well.

According to Koridze, Badri Shengelia was not in the office, so she went to the chairperson of the city council and informed him about the problems when Badri Shengelia entered the cabinet. According to him, the MP got irritated because she was speaking about the problems with the Chairman of the City Council.

"I was physically insulted. If not Nugzar Jamburia , I don"t even know what would happen there,"- said Maia Koridze.
