The Ministry of Internal Affairs will protect the security of the people gathered on the rally planned by the opposition on Rustaveli Avenue - a statement has been released by the agency.

The statement also says that police forces will be mobilized on Rustaveli Avenue, which will patrol all day long to prevent any kind of possible provocation and protect the security of the participants and ordinary citizens.
"The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on organizers of the rally to observe the law and obey the lawful requirements of the police. In the course of the rally, any fact of offense will be immediately stopped by the police within the frames of law, "the statement reads.
