The Georgian Foreign Ministry [MFA] expressed “deep shock” and condemnation following a deadly attack in New Orleans in the United States that claimed the lives of at least 15 people.
"We are deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the attack in New Orleans. We strongly condemn all acts of violence and stand in solidarity with the victims, their families, and the people of the United States during this difficult time" - reads the statement of the MFA posted on the X Platform.
At least 15 people were killed and dozens injured when a driver rammed a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orlean. The FBI is investigating the attack as an “act of terrorism” and said it doesn’t think the driver was "solely responsible".
