Davit Kirkitadze started hunger strike in the preliminary detention isolator. One of the leaders of the United Opposition says he is a political prisoner and was arrested at Ivanishvili"s political order.
The lawyer visited Kirkitadze late last night. He will be charged today.
The MIA blames the head of the Kvemo Kartli organization of the opposition in violation of Article 353 of the Criminal Code, which envisages from six months to two years of imprisonment.
"We believe that a person who exercises his constitutional right.
Law enforcers detained one of the leaders of the United Opposition and member of the parliament Davit Kirkitadze yesterday in Sagarejo.
