Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of “Unity-National Movement”, appealed to supporters and said that “more people are needed to continue the protest”.
“Now Melikishvili [Avenue] is closed and we have switched to a new tactic - this is a mobile protest. What does mobile protest mean? They will do it, we will do it too, we will keep our distance from the police.
They want to detain us, they tried to detain me personally, we don’t give them the opportunity to detain us. This is our mobile protest, thus continuing this continuous protest.
People are joining us and we will definitely win! I call on the public, we can do the same type of protest in other cities and believe me, they won’t do anything. We don’t hold back, we don’t come into contact with the police. If they come, we will move and keep our distance”, - said Giorgi Vashadze.
