The tension began after representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told politicians to leave Melikishvili Avenue.

The politicians did not agree to this request of the MIA representatives, after which a physical altercation began.

Several protesters physically assaulted a representative of the patrol police, after which these individuals were detained.
